Local Photographer Brings Passion and Skill to International Photographic Convention

Ann Arbor, MI — Betsy Finn of Betsy’s Photography will share her expertise at Imaging USA, the first convention and expo of the year designed exclusively for photography and imaging professionals. Imaging USA will be held January 16-18, 2011, in San Antonio, Texas.

Finn is one of more than 100 expert instructors presenting programs to thousands of professional photographers and industry experts attending the convention. Her program, “GenNEXT: Image Is Everything,” will help others improve their creative business skills, helping attendees get one step closer to photographic success.

Other Imaging USA classes will focus on topics from portrait techniques and marketing ideas to the latest advancements in digital imaging and software. Imaging USA will also feature a three-day trade show and one of North America’s largest annual photographic exhibits (free to the public) with more than 2,100 award-winning images.

Imaging USA has established itself as the first major photographic event of the year. Beginning in 1880 as the annual convention and trade show for Professional Photographers of America, it is the longest-running international photographic convention, expo and image exhibition in the United States. In 2006, Imaging USA became home to the co-located conference SEPCON, the annual conference of the Society of Sport and Event Photographers. In 2006, Imaging USA also welcomed Adobe as an official sponsor of the Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for Photographers track, now the Adobe Photography Solutions track. Rounding out the diverse education, Evidence Photographers International Council brought its EPIC School for evidence photographers to Imaging USA in 2008.
