I stumbled across a cool “behind the scenes” video on Strobist the other day. I’ve included it here for you to see… here’s the link to the Strobist article if you’re interested.
The video features a behind-the-scene with photographer Robert Benson. On a side note, Benson’s blog is really quite interesting; he posts a lot of behind the scenes stuff and other intriguing tidbits. Check out this post of his, How to Instruct Models, which features some videos by Yuri Arcurs.
I found a few more “behind the scenes” to share with you, because what photographer doesn’t like to see the details and “stuff” that goes into the final image? Andrew Zuckerman’s Light Aircraft – Strobist discusses Andrew’s lighing setup (check out the pullback shot of the airplane).
Also, you should check out this out… it’s an article called wired to the new rules. It’s about the WIRED issue featuring Brad Pitt. It’s basically a behind the scenes article discussing lighting, setup, etc. You’ll even get to see some pullback/setup shots, as well as the final product (i.e. “the set” followed by the finished image).
I’m sure there is a lot of content like this on the web… so if you find something interesting, let me know!
