Just in case you haven’t heard it enough, let me say it one more time. There is no quick and easy way to get rich. The only way to become profitable is by working hard and applying yourself.
That being said, the internet is filled with many “ways to make money” — most of them claiming to be work-free and effortless. All you have to do is pay a one time fee of $500, or buy a marketing secrets book that will help you discover the “secret” that apparently everyone else has overlooked.
On top of that, you have the scam emails cluttering up your inbox (or junkbox, as the case may be). You know the ones I’m talking about. The emails that propose you wire $10,000 to some prince in another country, after which you’ll supposedly be able to split an inheritance of $300 million. Sadly enough, I know at least one poor soul who has been conned into believing that she really should wire money overseas.
Just because it’s out there doesn’t mean you need to fall prey to temptation. Take the time to do your research, to see through the fluff. Find a way to make things work for you. A way that doesn’t involve a prince or a get-rich-quick scheme.
